Fisher Catholic 30, Grandview Heights 16

JV Squad falls to Fisher Catholic
The JV Bobcats (3-2) hosted the Fisher Catholic junior varsity team on Monday night at Bobcat Stadium with Irish coming away with a 30-16 victory. After falling behind 23-0 in the third quarter, the 'Cats responded with two touchdowns. With 9:08 remaining in the game, quarterback Fred Lane hit Jack Minnillo on a fade in the left side of the end zone from 15 yards out. Cam Wallace then ran it in for the two-point conversion. The Bobcats added a touchdown with 1:31 left in the contest when fullback Zach Jump scored on a 14-yard run. Jump led the rushing attack with 54 yards in 9 carries. Fred Lane then added the two-point conversion with a bootleg run. Lane also had a good passing day, going 13-for-24 for 126 yards and a touchdown. On the defensive side of the ball, Grant Westover had an outstanding game with a number of solo tackles, while Jarrad Tittel added an interception. The JV squad's next game is this Saturday at Harvest Prep beginning at 10:00 a.m.
