VARSITY 'CATS FALL AT HARVEST PREP
Bobcats just short in comeback
The Varsity 'Cats (4-6, 3-4) traveled to Canal Winchester Friday to take on the Harvest Prep Warriors (2-8, 2-5) in the final game of the 2009 season for both teams. The Bobcats took an early lead when Colin Ridgeway connected on a 34-yard field goal in the first quarter. After that, Harvest Prep would take advantage of Grandview turnovers and score three straight touchdowns, two by running back Taimere Fambro, who finished the night with 172 rushing yards. The Bobcats scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to get within four points, both on Oliver Rouch to Payton Jones passes and had the ball inside the Warriors' 10-yard line with less than a minute to play but could not cash in. Harvest Prep hung on for the 21-17 win.
