The 2008 squad practiced at Camp Bobcat in Ross County
in July as they prepared for the upcoming season.


YOUTH CAMP HELD
The Touchdown Club and Head Coach Jason Peters held a Youth Camp, for players going into the second through eighth grades, from July 14th to July 17th at GHHS's Anderson Field.

BOBCATS GO OUT IN STYLE
On October 26th, in their final game of the season, the Varsity 'Cats (3-7, 2-5) posted a 47-20 win over the Fisher Catholic Irish (5-5, 2-5) at Anderson Field on Senior Parent Night. The Irish took the lead in the first quarter on a Patrick Duffee touchdown run. The Bobcats then reeled off four straight scores in the first half, with seniors Zach Jump, Fred Lane, Jarrad Tittel, and Sam Mehling getting into the end zone and senior David Els adding two extra points. At the half, Grandview led 26-7. Fisher Catholic would score twice in the third quarter to get to within six points, 26-20. After that, it was all Grandview with three scores in the fourth quarter, including a Zach Jump 52-yard run for the final touchdown. Lane led the team with 160 yards rushing with Jump adding 151 yards on the ground. Congratulations to the senior players for a fantastic finish!

THREE MSL CARDINAL TEAMS MAKE PLAYOFFS
The Mid-State League, Cardinal Division will have three teams in the 2007 playoffs - Licking Heights in Division IV, West Jefferson in Division V, and Berne Union in Division VI. Best of luck to these teams!
