Licking Heights Game
Grandview Heights 27, Licking Heights 0

JV squad stays unbeaten
The JV Bobcats (3-0) topped the visiting Licking Heights junior varsity squad 27-0 on Saturday morning to remain unbeaten in the 2004 season. The JV 'Cats got the scoring started early in this one. After Zach Jump blocked a punt, which was recovered by Jesse Hickman, the team drove it down the field with quarterback Fred Lane punching it into the end zone from a yard out. Jump's kick was good and the Bobcats led 7-0. In the second quarter, tailback Cam Wallace scored on a 21-yard scamper to make it 13-0. Wallace ended the day with 105 yards rushing on 12 carries. In the third quarter, Lane connected with Wallace on a 2-yard pass for the third touchdown of the morning. Lane then ran it in for the two-point conversion and the score was 21-0. The final touchdown came when Jump took it 21 yards for the score with 5:58 remaining in the fourth quarter. The JV Bobcats are back in action Saturday as they travel to Berne Union for a game beginning at 10:00 a.m.
