Madison Plains Game
Grandview Heights 24, Madison Plains 6

JV squad wins Saturday
The JV Bobcats hosted the Madison Plains JV team on Saturday morning at Bobcat Stadium and came away with their second win in as many games to begin the 2004 season. The 'Cats scored four touchdowns en route to a 24-6 victory. Three of those scores came in the first half as Zach Jump punched it in from 3 yards and 1 yard in successive drives. Cam Wallace added a touchdown, scoring from 5 yards out in the first quarter. The Bobcats' final score came in the second half when quarterback Fred Lane took it in from 13 yards on a bootleg run around the left side. The defense allowed only one touchdown on the game when the Golden Eagles recovered their own fumble and ran it in from more than 50 yards out. Fred Lane and Anthony Dorsey intercepted passes to stop drives in the first half. The JV 'Cats are at home again next week when they play Licking Heights in an MSL-Cardinal game. Kickoff at Bobcat Stadium is set for 10:00 a.m.
